Meet the Team

Steve Cullum

Steve Cullum

Steve initially joined the business at Ketteringham Hall as a Management Accountant in 1984. For 13 years, the work provided him with invaluable experiences in many aspects of the business. This led to other senior roles in property and investment organisations from 1997 until 2024. With Martin announcing his retirement, Steve was given the opportunity to return to Ketteringham Hall and he rejoined the Company in March to manage the property letting, internal maintenance and accounting.

Jane Payton

Jane has strong links to the Hall due to the fact that her parents, Colin & Hazel Chapman, purchased the property in 1970. The grounds had been neglected for a number of years and she decided to undertake their restoration in 2016. This included repairing the two follies, the HaHa, dredging the lake and extensive clearance of fallen trees and undergrowth. Jane and her brother Clive are both Directors at the Hall.

He is an invaluable member of staff.

Ian 'Duc' Martin

Ian’s association with the Lotus Formula One team goes back to 1981 when he had the job of transporting the racing cars to the Grands Prix all over the world. Ian lives in a cottage on site and started working closely with Jane and Will in the grounds in 2016. He keeps the grass looking immaculate and was instrumental as part of the team restoring the grounds to their present state.

Will Payton

Will works on a part time basis at Ketteringham Hall doing invaluable work in the grounds alongside his wife Jane and Ian Martin. His first five years at the Hall were spent bringing the gardens and outlying buildings back to their original condition as much as possible. Time is now spent keeping things pristine for the tenants and visitors to the Orangery Tearoom. Will also manages the two Ketteringham Hall shepherd huts.
